Leader Praises IRGC’s Good Efforts
TEHRAN (IQNA) – Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei appreciated the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) for its good efforts and performance.
In a message to IRGC Commander Major General Hossein Salami, conveyed by head of the Leader’s Military Office Brigadier General Mohammad Shirazi, Ayatollah Khamenei send greetings to the IRGC personnel and their family members on the anniversary of the force’s establishment.
“I than the good performance and efforts of the IRGC and prayer for (its members),” the Leader said in the message.
The IRGC was established after the 1979 Islamic Revolution which saw the overthrow of the US-backed regime of the Shah and replaced it with the Islamic Republic. It is tasked with protecting the country and the Islamic Republic against enemies.
