According to alanba newspaper, Fahad Al-Janfawi, director of the Office for Islamic Studies and Quranic Sciences affiliated to Kuwait’s Awqaf Ministry, said girls from Al-Ahmadi and Mubarak Al-Kabir provinces can benefit from the courses held by the center, named Al-Riyadah.
The center will start its activities with a winter course in the new academic year of 2019, he said.
Al-Janfawi added that the office has recently launched 20 centers for Quranic and Islamic studies in different provinces of Kuwait and noted that all of the new centers as well as the old ones, which amount to 100, have been licensed by Kuwait’s Social Development Office.
He also said that the office plans to open a new Quranic center to hold morning Quran courses for the retired.
