Russian Deputy FM Meet with Hezbollah Leader

TEHRAN (IQNA) - Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov on Saturday met with Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah in Beirut.

No details have been released about the discussions between Nasrallah and Bodanov.
The senior Russian diplomat arrived in Beirut on Friday and has met with several Lebanese officials including Prime Minister Michel Suleiman and Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri.
The visit by the Russian official comes as Lebanon is confronting terrorism.
Over the past months, Lebanon has been suffering from terrorist attacks by al-Qaeda-linked militants and random rocket attacks, which are viewed as a spillover of the conflict in Syria.
