According to IQNA’s branch in South Asia, the program was attended by a number of scholars, lecturers, seminary students and the staff of the organization.
It began with recitation of some verses of the holy Quran and continued with speeches by Hojat-ol-Islam Seyyed Safi Heydar, secretary general of the organization who elaborated on religious rites and principles.
Hojat-ol-Islam Seyyed Sabah Al-Hassan, member of the supervisory board of the organization and Hojat-ol-Islam Hamid Al-Hassan, director of the monthly of the organization presented speeches on the importance and necessity of taking a role model in man’s education and book-reading rules, respectively.
Papers on health preservation and discipline in life were also respectively presented by Seyyed Qanbar Ali and Mohammad Isaa at the seminar.
Tanzeemul Makatib is an organization devoted to religious awareness and has been the most powerful movement among the Shias in India in the last century. The organization runs (at this very time) 1017 educational units (Maktab/Schools) in 35 provinces of India.
