Applying Jawaheri Fiqh, A Revolution in Seminaries

Applying the principles of Jawaheri Fiqh will prepare the ground for a big revolution in seminaries (Hawzah).
This is according Ayatollah Taskhiri, Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought (WFPIST), who, addressing the second edition of “Honoring Lasting Figures Influential in International Fields” conference, added that applying Jawaheri Fiqh to the seminaries is the best move towards revolutionizing these centers.
Referring to the valuable contributions of Allameh Akhtar Razvi and Allameh Al-Fazli, the two clerics honored at the ceremony, to promoting Islam, he stated that honoring such leading characters is a matter of significance. "By doing so, the younger generation will follow in their footsteps.”
Elsewhere in his remarks, Ayatollah Taskhiri hailed Martyr Mohammad Baqer Sadr’s role in promotion of Islam and described Martyr Sadr as the paradigm of resolution, urging young seminary students to take him as role model.
Regarding the two honored clerics as two active figures in Jawaheri Fiqh, Secretary General of WFPIST reiterated that, “Imam Khomeini (RA) also raised the issue of Tajdid in the framework of Jawaheri Fiqh”.
