Winners of the 17th Quran and Hadith Olympiad Honored

Winners of the 17th international Quran and Hadith Olympiad for non-Iranian seminary students were awarded at the closing ceremony of the contest on February 9.
10 top participants of 10 categories were awarded at the ceremony which was held in the presence of Ayatollah Husseini Bushehri and Hojat-ol-Islam Qaraati.
Mahdi Mohammad Khalil from Iraq in the category of memorization of the entire Quran, Ja’far Hashiwan from Indonesia in recitation, Seyyed Mojtaba Razavi from India in written examination of memorization of the entire Quran were among the winners.
Rahmatollah Ali Rahimi from Iran in book writing category, Sajed Ali from Pakistan in interpretation of the Quran at MA level, Mohammad Amir Towhidi from Afghanistan in Quranic sciences at MA level, Mohammad Zaki Rajabi from Afghanistan in thesis writing, Ma’soumeh Fasihi from Afghanistan in Quran interpretation at BA level and Zahra Fazel from Afghanistan in memorization of Nahj-ul-Balaqa and Sahifah Sajjadiyyah were also honored.
In memorization of the entire Quran, Alijan Ehsani from Afghanistan, Seyyed Mahdi Husseini, Dhulfaghar Alishah and Jahangir khan from Pakistan were respectively the second to the fifth rank winners.
In memorization of 20 parts of the Quran, Gholamali Mahdawi from Afghanistan, Majedeh Zargush from Iraq and Mohammad Hussein Hojjati from Afghanistan won the first to the third ranks respectively.
Mohammad Hussein Beheshti from Pakistan, Seyyed Mohammad Javad Mousawi from Afghanistan and Nosratollah Sa’dollah from Tajikistan were the first, second and third winners in the category of memorization of 15 Juzes.
And in memorization of 10 Juzes of the Quran, Ma’soumeh Ja’fari from Pakistan, Homa Daya and Abdul Hussein Dastgheyb won the top ranks.
