Islamic Azad University to Hold Quran Competition Next Month
TEHRAN (IQNA) – The national stage of the 25th edition of the Islamic Azad University’s Quran competition will be in the next Iranian calendar year of Aban (October 22- November 20), an official said.
Hojat-ol-Islam Ebrahimzadeh said the provincial stage of the contest has already concluded.
He said those winning top titles in the provincial stage will make it to the final round.
The university’s teachers, students, and staff compete in different categories in two sections for men and women, he added.
According to the cleric, Quran recitation, memorization, Adhan (call to prayer), Tawasheeh (religious singing) and prayer recitation are the categories of the contest.
