Iranian Memorizer Working to Enhance Skills to Attend Jordan Quran Contest
The international Quranic event in Jordan is planned to be held in the holy month of Ramadan (July).
Karami told IQNA that he has a good opportunity in the following months until the competition to enhance his Quranic skills.
The Hafiz (Quran memorizer), who is from the central Iranian city of Arak, was recently selected by a special committee as representative of Iran in the Jordanian Quran contest.
He was among a number of top Iranian Quran reciters and memorizers who took part in a special program and later an examination held earlier this month to choose the best ones to compete for Iran in different Quran contests around the world.
In the 2016 of Jordan international Quran contest, Mahmoud Babakhan represented Iran in the men’s section.
