TEHRAN (IQNA) – Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi underlined that most of the ISIL militants are foreigners and that no Sunni supports this terrorist group.

Speaking at a ceremony held Saturday in Baghdad to mark the Martyr’s Day, he added that Sunni Muslims have in fact suffered the most from the terrorist activities of ISIL.

He further stressed that all ISIL militants will soon be forced out of Iraq.

The Western-backed ISIL terrorist group controls parts of Syria and Iraq, and has been carrying out horrific acts of violence such as public decapitations and crucifixions against all communities such as Shias, Sunnis, Kurds and Christians.

Iraqi soldiers, police units, Kurdish forces, Shia fighters and Sunni tribesmen have been engaged in joint operations to drive the terrorists out of the areas they have seized.
