Seminar to Discuss Religious, Cultural Approaches to Arbaeen Supplication
It will be organized by Al-Bayan Lil Tawasil Wa Al-Taasil Institute in cooperation with Al-Hizara Islamic Thought Development Center.
University of Edinburgh scholar Ali Qassim will be among the speakers at the seminar.
The title of his speech is “An Introduction to Research Works on Arbaeen Phenomenon”.
Lebanese scholar Hojat-ol-Islam Mohammad Hassan Zaraqit and Iranian professor of political sciences Mokhtar Sheikh Hosseini will respectively talk about “the Arbaeen supplication and redemptive theology” and “Arbaeen and identity-making for contemporary human”.
The seminar is slated for Thursday, September 30 at 4 PM Beirut time.

The Arbaeen Supplication on visiting Imam Hussein (AS) is a ziarat of Imam Hussein (AS) which is recited on the day of Arbaeen.
