1st Nat'l Quran Contest for Seminary Students in Iraq

The first edition of national Quran contest for students of seminary schools will be held on June 1 at the holy shrine of Imam Hussein (AS) in Karbala, Iraq.
The contest is organized by Dar-ol-Quran Al-Karim affiliated to the holy shrine of Imam Hussein (AS) to be held on the occasion of birth anniversary of Imam Javad (AS).
It will feature various categories including memorization of the entire Quran as well as 5, 10, 20 Juzes (parts) and recitation.
Top winners in memorization of the entire Quran and recitation categories will be awarded Umrah pilgrimage.
Pilgrimage to the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS) and 100,000 Dinars will be the awards for the second place winners of the contest.
The third place winners will also be dispatched to the holy city of Mashhad.
