Quran Contest for Urdu-Speaking Seminarians Planned

The 13th edition of Quran memorization contest for Urdu-speaking seminary students will be held on June 16 in the holy city of Qom.
Talking to IQNA, Seyyed Mojtaba Razavi, organizer of the contest, said that this edition will be held at the Alawi Dar-ol-Quran Center in the holy city.
Organized by Al-Mustafa International University, the contest will include two stages in which the participants will compete on memorization of the entire Quran and 20, 15, 10 and 5 parts (Juzes) of the Holy Quran, he said adding that registration for the competition will continue until June 5.
Alawi Dar-ol-Quran has been actively involved for 13 years in training reciters and memorizers of the Holy Quran from among foreign seminary students.
The institute organizes Quranic competitions among the seminary students with the aim of introducing top Quran activists and promoting the level of Quranic knowledge of the students and their children.
