“Seminary and University Quranic Elites” Plan to Be Implemented
Organized by Iranian Students Quranic Activities Organization (ISQAO) and Quran and Etrat Office of seminaries’ Tahzib deputy, the first comprehensive plan of “Seminary and University Quranic Elites” is to be executed in late August.
The plan seeks to elevate the Quranic knowledge of the elites, raise the Quranic works and support the practical and innovative Quranic plans of both university and seminary students.
It is also aimed at launching a database for the Quranic elites, recognizing and applying the elites’ capabilities in national and international Quranic plans, exposing the elites to novel ideas and viewpoints in different Quranic spheres, helping them develop close ties with Quranic masters, informing the seminaries and universities of one another’s Quranic capacities, materializing the slogan of "Seminary-university Solidarity" and training Quranic managers for the future.
The 10-day plan is supposed to be held every year in one of the country’s provinces.
The main subjects to be discussed during the plan include interdisciplinary Quranic topics, recitation, class management, memorization, rules of judging Quranic contests, Etrat, Hadith and contemplation on the Holy Quran.
A comprehensive examination will be held at the end of the course and those who can pass it will be given a valid certificate of the course completion.
Also, all the materials covered during the course will be complied in a book or software program and offered to the interested individuals who cannot participate in the plan.
