According to IQNA’s correspondent, the opening ceremony that was held on May 2 from 5 to 7 p.m. was attended by the deputy minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance in Quranic affairs, as well as a number of officials of University Jihad Organization, seminaries, and the province.
Hojat-ol-Islam Hamid Mohammadi, deputy minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance in Quranic affairs; Zojaji, cultural deputy of University Jihad Organization; and Hojat-ol-Islam Hosseinkhani, Tahzib (purification of soul) deputy of seminaries were the main speakers of the ceremony.
The branch was launched based on an agreement signed between seminaries’ Tahzibh deputy and Iranian Students Quranic Activities Organization to foster further cooperation between seminaries and University Jihad, and consolidate the Quranic activities of university and seminary students.
The two centers are expected to cooperate in organizing different religious and Quranic plans, forums, and festivals.
Publishing Rayehe biweekly to honor top Quranic figures of seminaries, investigating specialized Quranic subjects in different fields, preparing special dossiers on particular topics, as well as introducing the best national and international masters and experts were among other terms of the agreement.
Also, seminaries were urged to actively participate in organizing national and international forums, festivals and competitions in Quranic spheres.
