1st Int'l “Preaching Skills” Contest to Be Held

--International University of Al-Mustafa plans to hold the first edition of an international contest on “Preaching skills” for non-Iranian seminary students on March 1.
This is according to Mohsen Moa’refi, an official with the University, who also told IQNA that one of the central concerns of the center is the issue of preaching.
Referring to the objectives of the University, he added that, “ We need to take great steps forward for training preachers so that the principles of Islam will be transmitted all across the globe”.
He went on to say that all-out efforts have been taken in order to fulfill this obligation.
He further noted that the competition will feature categories including sermon, religious rules, debate, and making eulogies in both oral and written form.
“Some 1376, both men and women, contenders from 41 countries are expected to attend the contest”, Mr. Ma’refi concluded.
