Quran and Hadith Contest for Non-Iranian Seminarians Planned

The 3rd edition of Quran and Hadith group contest for non-Iranian seminary students will be held on February 28 and 29 in the holy city of Qom.
Talking to IQNA, Abdulreza Sharifi, director of Quran and Hadith Section of Imam Khomeini (RA) Higher Education Complex said: “this edition of the contest will be attended by 26 teams of non-Iranian seminary students.”
“Each group will consist of four members to compete on Quran concepts and interpretation, memorization, Tahqeeq and Tarteel recitation, Nahj-ul-Balaqa and Sahifa Sajjadiyyah.”
Seminarians from 12 countries such as Tajikistan, Iraq, Afghanistan, Norway, Pakistan, Azerbaijan, Thailand, Algeria, India, Turkey and Nigeria will attend the contest.
Expert judges will supervise the contest which will be held in both written and oral sections.
