Pakistani Qari Hails Level of Iran’s Int’l Quran Contests

TEHRAN (IQNA) – A prominent Pakistani Qari highlighted the good level of international Quran competitions organized in the Islamic Republic of Iran.

 

Speaking to IQNA, Mohammad Ibrahim Kasi said Iran attaches great importance to Quranic activities.

“I have the experience of attending and winning titles in Iran’s international Quran contests and I should say that the competitions are held at a very good level,” he said.

Kasi also praised Iranian Quran reciters and said has Qaris who possess very good Sawt (voice).

Iran organized several international Quran competitions, including those for men, women, school students and visually-impaired back in April.

Qaris and Quran memorizers from more than 80 countries took part in the contests.
