Quran Competition Concludes in Oman
According to Arabic news website, the competition was organized by Adam Sons Group of Companies in the holy month of Ramadan with 200 participants from all over the country.
Quran recitation for those aged 14 and above, Quran recitation for those under 14 years old, memorization of 15 Juzes of the Quran and memorization of the entire Quran were the four categories of the contest.
In the first category, Muhammad ibn Salih Al-Muqimi, Hamoud ibn Muhammad Al-Wahibi and Heytham ibn Muhammad Al-Rawahi won the first to the third ranks respectively.
Ayad Isk, Abdullah ibn Seyf and Muhammad Jaki bagged the top prizes in the second category.
The three winners of memorization of 15 Juzes were Abdullah ibn Muhammad Al-Ameri, Anas Muhammad Abdulwahhab and Othman ibn Abdulzahir ibn Abdulqadir.
Ajmad ibn Hilal Al-Busa’eedi, Abdulrahman Al-Sayyed Hassan and Abdulrahman Ihsan respectively won the first to the third ranks in memorization of the entire Quran.
