Istanbul Forum to Discuss Imam Sadeq (AS) Role in Reviving Islam
TEHRAN (IQNA) – A forum will be held in Istanbul, Turkey, on Saturday to discuss the role of Imam Sadeq (AS) in revival of Islam.
According to the website of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), the Union of Jafari Scholars of Turkey will organize the event in cooperation with the Iranian cultural attache in the country.
A number of cultural and religious figures, including Hojat-ol-Islam Akhtari, a member of ICRO’s high council, will attend the forum.
It will be held as the Muslim world mourned the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Sadeq (AS), the sixth Shia Imam, on Thursday.
There is another forum planned to be held in Istanbul tomorrow with the participation of Hojat-ol-Islam Akhtari.
It will feature the role of Muslim scholars in safeguarding the Islamic identity.
