Speaking in a meeting with seminary students from Latin America, Hojat-ol-Islam Alireza A’arafi underlined the need for good relations among all Islamic schools of thought and said the enemies are seeking to create conflicts between Shia and Sunni Muslims.
Chancellor of Al-Mustafa International University said interacting with all Muslim should be in a way so as to enhance Islamic unity.
Of course, Takfiris (those who consider their feloow Muslims as infidels) are different and they should be treated with prudence, he said.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Hojat-ol-Islam A’arafi stressed the importance of making the best use of all the time one has in this world, saying that all days and nights belong to God and that all moments should be lived with spirituality.
He also highlighted the significance of prayers and supplications in the school of Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS) and said there are many beautiful supplications for the three lunar months of Rajab, Sha’aban and Ramadan (This year fall in May, June, July and August).
“We should begin planning for making the best spiritual use of these three months and try to elevate ourselves in terms of spirituality and knowledge.”
Chancellor of Al-Mustafa International University further underscored that Islamic seminaries for one thousand years have extracted the teachings of Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS) and today these lofty teachings should be spread all around the world.
