Ja’fariya Islamic Library Opens in Karachi

A new Islamic library called “Ja’fariya” was opened by Jafariya Shia political party at a ceremony on October 12 in Abbas Town in Karachi, Pakistan.
According to IQNA’s branch in South Asia, the opening ceremony of the library was attended by head of the Council of Pakistani Shia Scholars, Allameh Jamal Hussein, imam of Mustafa Mosque of the city, Musa Reza, member of the party and a large number of seminary students.
Addressing the program, the head of the council stated that libraries encourage the people, particularly teenagers, to improve their knowledge and insight.
He added that if governments pay due attention to education of children and teenagers, their countries will achieve great success.
Also speaking at the ceremony, Musa Reza stressed that the party also plans to set up libraries in other parts of the city believing that opening scientific-cultural centers will promote the knowledge of the younger generation.
