The Holy Quran has unfortunately been neglected and not appreciated as it truly deserves.
This is according to Hojat-ol-Islam Mohsen Qara’ati, head of Prayer Committee, speaking at the cultural and propagation forum of Islamic Ideology Dissemination Department in the holy city of Qom on June 13.
Criticizing religious officials and seminarians’ neglecting the Holy Book, he called for daily studies of Nahjul-Balaqah and interpretation subjects along with attending the scholars’ classes.
He said it is a great pity that our seminary students are not as attentive to the Quran and Nahjul-Balaqah as they are to the scholars’ sermons.
“Religious propagation should be carried out not just as a way of earning a living but as a serious medium to revive the Holy Book and convey its lofty messages to people,” Hojat-ol-Islam Qara’ati further noted.
