AIU Plans Int’l Mahdism Exhibition
Al-Mustafa International University (AIU) plans to organize an international exhibition on Mahdism at Jamkaran Mosque in Qom.
Titled Safiran-e Aftab (ambassadors of the sun), it will be held by Imam Khomeini (RA) higher education center, an AIU affiliate in Qom, secretary of the supreme cultural council of Jamkaran Mosque Hojat-ol-Islam Morteza Vafi said.
He said the exhibition is slated to be held in the month of Sha’ban on the lunar Hijri calendar concurrent with the auspicious birth anniversary of Imam Zaman (may God hasten his glad advent).
Seminary students from 40 countries of the world will take part in the international event, Hojat-ol-Islam Vafi noted.
He went on to say that a specialized exhibition for fostering the teachings of Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS) will also be held at the mosque on the auspicious occasion.
